Located in Vancouver’s Kensington-Cedar Cottage neighbourhood, 810 Kingsway is a six-storey, mixed-use development delivering 108 secured market rental homes above approximately 11,500 square feet of ground-level retail. Developed by Rize Alliance and designed by Yamamoto Architecture, the project features a modern, industrial façade with brick and metal cladding, and includes a mix of studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, as well as family-friendly townhomes along the laneway. Approved under the City of Vancouver’s Secured Market Rental Housing Policy, the building contributes to the area’s housing diversity while enhancing the streetscape with a publicly accessible plaza and pedestrian-friendly design.
NuFrame played a pivotal role in bringing this project to life, providing a comprehensive material supply package that included wall panels, design, delivery, and labour for the wood frame structure. Spanning 72,100 square feet, the five-storey wood frame sits atop a concrete podium and two levels of underground parking. NuFrame’s integrated approach ensured precision, efficiency, and quality throughout the framing process, contributing to the successful completion of this landmark rental development in the heart of East Vancouver.
